The Summer Social down in Lewes on June 11 was a lot of fun. We had a terrific turnout, with folks rolling in from all over Delaware. The Children’s Beach House was beautiful, and there was plenty of parking for all. Families enjoyed pizza and snacks together, and then took to the beach. There were happy, laughing, sandy children running every which way in true Delaware Summer Fun fashion. We met some families we didn’t know and renewed friendships with some families we did know. Many of us fell asleep in our car seats on the way home. Thank you to the Children’s Beach House, and to everyone who came out to the shore for a wonderful afternoon. Hope to do it again next year!
